Church Decor (Liturgical Environment)

The Ministry of Liturgical Environment aims to enhance and beautify the space in which we worship throughout the year. On specific liturgical days/seasons such as Ash Wednesday, Lent, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter and Advent, to name a few, the decor will visually reflect the events or teachings. This group needs extra help on special feasts such as Christmas and Easter. If you would like to help with Church Decor please contact the church office.

The convenor of the Liturgical Environment is Deacon Claude.

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

The Hospitality Ministry extends a warm welcome to all those who attend liturgical celebrations at St. Charles Parish.  Duties include assisting in the foyer office, operating the chair lift, taking the collection and distributing the bulletins after Mass.  Hospitality Ministers are trained so they can address concerns and inform visitors and parishioners about the parish services.

Joining the Hospitality Ministry means arriving for mass 30 minutes before and staying 10 minutes after. This does not prevent you from joining other church activities. We invite people of all ages, as well as families or couples that would like to serve together. The schedule is flexible so you can volunteer as often as you like.

Contemporary Christian music is provided by "Project Sunday". The group enhances its sound with rhythm and guitars.

ALTAR SERVERS

Please talk to your children and encourage them to consider becoming an altar server. It is a privilege to assist the priest at the Altar. St. Charles Parish is also open to having “adult altar servers”, especially to help serve at funerals. Contact the Parish office 204- 889-3248.
